I’m in Florida!

Introduction

Hello everyone! My name’s Elisa, I’m 18 years old and I come from Italy.I’m writing this very first post from West Palm Beach, in Florida, where I’m gonna be for the next two weeks.

The journey

Yesterday night, after a cancelled flight and a day-long trip from Venice, I finally got to Miami with my exchange group, and we were absolutely exhausted because of the endless journey from Italy… Today is my first day in West Palm Beach and I’m really looking forward to enjoying this experience, I love the group of people I’m with and I love the place even more so I can’t wait!

My birthday present

The special thing about this trip, which is organized by my English teacher at school, is that my parents actually let me come here as a birthday present; when they told me I was gonna come here with a bunch of my friends it was the best day of my life! In the next two weeks I will have English classes and I will be visiting the city as well, there’ll be many different activities…The aim of this program is to make us improve our English and to visit the city.

What this blog’s for

As this is an awesome experience I thought I could do something to make it even more special: I’m gonna use this blog to share with you guys details about my experience and to talk about travelling in general, because that’s one thing I’m very passionate about. I’m gonna try to make it as interesting as possible, but feel free to leave suggestions and opinions in the comments so that I can make it better!
